Consulting & Speaking

The conversations that need to happen.

Advisory is the core of this practice; a keynote is often how it starts. Below: what working together looks like, and what it costs.

· What working together looks like

Advisory. Quarterly retainer for teams building or governing AI. A standing voice that is neither the optimist nor the doomer — and the work that voice produces: AI-use and data-governance policies your teams can actually apply, a review cadence for new models and vendors, and a position on the data you draw from communities that survives scrutiny (AI Act, NIST AI RMF, procurement).

Consulting projects. 4–12 weeks, scoped to a specific question: "should we build this," "what do we owe the community whose data we use," "what policy survives the next model."

Workshops. Half-day to two days, for product, policy, and leadership teams that know what they want to ship and need to think through what shipping it will do.

Keynotes & panels. 30–60 minutes, framed for the room — a corporate offsite is not a university seminar and should not be billed as one.

What I am useful forRooms where the technical and the humanistic have to share a microphone. Decisions that have not yet been made.

What I am notA hype keynote. A doom keynote. A vendor for ethics-washing.

On stage

The talks.

Not paper abstracts — talks a booker can put on a program, workshopped from Berlin to Toronto for rooms that contain both engineers and the people who pay them.
